This is Charlie, a super sweet mare I had the pleasure of photographing recently. Her mom wanted these images to create wall art with and that is honestly always the intention with these black background portraits. They are so classic and timeless.
We had to pull out all the stops to get her ears forward as she's not quickly impressed by anything and very chill. The peppermints did the trick though!
