So much info to provide your guests with, so little space on your gorgeously designed invitation suite!
What to do?
How about creating a wedding website? You just add the url to your invitation or save the date cards and you can add all the additional info there!
So what do you include on your wedding website?
First of all, all the essentials about your day. The location, the timeline, what time guests should be where etc.
Photos of the two of you! Your family and friends want to see your faces! Have you done an engagement session with your photographer? Add those photos to the site!
Share the story of you two. How did you meet, how did the proposal take place? It doesn’t have to be lengthy at all but a few lines about the two of you and who you are, is a lovely addition.
If you want, you can add the wedding party to the site too. You’ve picked these lovely people with good reason to be in the wedding party, so it’s nice to introduce them to your guests beforehand.
Add travel info, directions for instance but also nearby hotels, should guests want to stay overnight. Planning a destination wedding? Try reserving a block of rooms in a hotel that your guests can then book.
Add some info and highlights about the area. If guests are turning the trip into a weekend, they know where to go and what to expect!
Have an RSVP option on the site. A fast and easy option for your guests to accept or decline your invitation.
