Back in November I had the honor of photographing a beautiful bridal inspiration shoot, styled by one of my favorites Best Day Ever Events.
We had talked about doing a shoot before and when I send her a photo that inspired me greatly (a cowgirl riding a horse holding a US flag), we decided to turn this into a bridal shoot, inspired by horses and cowgirls. Working with such a great creative team is always a true pleasure <3
Nailia’s inspiration behind the shoot:
The inspiration for this shoot started with one single photo of cowgirl riding a horse. Freedom and lightness were the key words for this shoot. The tulle, weightless dress was designed especially for this shoot. Our designer added just a splash of sparkle for a little more romance.
The colours we used for this shoot are a dark burgundy as the main colour, and adding some grey and blush to give some more dimension to the colour pallette. The flower design is daring but still romantic. For the centrepiece we designed the tree, we added some greenery and orchids for a sophisticated touch. The eagle on the table is a reminder of America and of freedom. It’s a perfect match for an American western inspired wedding.
By adding some burgundy orchids to the white wedding cake, it gives it just a bit more of a robust feeling. It’s a great mix of romantic and adventurous.
And naturally, a shoot cannot be western inspired without having a gorgeous horse in the shoot!
Here are a few of my favorite images. How gorgeous is that horse by the way? Isn’t she majestic? And I know I’m very biased since he’s my furbabe, but doesn’t little Bash look adorable in his US flag bandana? He stole the show I think!
