The workshop, April 2017: for photographers

We are teaching another fine art wedding photography workshop!
After gorgeous ones abroad, we are staying put in our own country this time and will be hosting a 2-day workshop in Holland.
The dates are April 10th and 11th 2017.
Day 1 will be in our studio at home in Boskoop, day 2 will be at the amazing venue De Metaalkathedraal in Utrecht.
Both locations can be reached easily and have free parking.

We’ve divided the two days into a day of listening (day 1) and a day of doing (day 2).
On day 1 we will be diving into the business part:
– what equipment do we use and when, plus how we work as a team
– we’ll be sharing our workflow (and share how we deliver full galleries to our wedding clients within 4 weeks after their wedding but also what software and programs we use to make our life in the office easier)
– our marketing and networking, how we market our business without paying way too much on advertising.
– how to curate a consistent brand
– how to create an amazing client experience
– shooting film and working with your lab
– how to deal with the less pretty locations but still capture images that represent your brand and you can showcase on your blog with pride.
and more….

On day 2 we’ll be doing 2 gorgeously styled shoots. In the morning we’ll start with a bridal boudoir shoot (with a professional model) and in the afternoon we’ll be doing a wedding shoot with a lovely real couple and gorgeous styling for both shoots of course!
The styling is in the very capable hands of Nailia of Best Day Ever Events and we will be working with the best vendors out there and using gorgeous products (like The Beautiful Bride Company and items from Victoria’s Secret).

We’ll have plenty of time for both shoots. I know from personal experience how everyone is always so keen to take plenty of photos during a workshop, that some people just get snowed under.

So we’ll be taking our time, I’ll be showcasing how I work, what I look for in backgrounds, how I work with natural light, how I communicate with my clients and how I get them relaxed in front of the camera very quickly.
And then you all get the chance to photograph and direct the models so you can get the images YOU really want to capture that represent your brand, not just photograph over someone else’s shoulder.

You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions during both days.
Lunch, snacks and drinks are all taken care of for you during both days.
You may use the images you take for your own portfolio, social media, website and such provided you credit the workshop and the full team of vendors (you’ll receive a full list of course!).

The workshop will be taught in DUTCH. If you are English speaking but understand Dutch, please know that you are also more than welcome to attend. We’ll be teaching in Dutch but we can absolutely help you out by answering any questions you have in English :) If you have any language barrier concerns, please shoot me an email :)

The investment for these 2 days (including food & drinks) is 725 euros ex VAT.
Upon booking a seat, you’ll receive an invoice for the first 50% and about a month before the workshop you’ll receive the second invoice.

If you book your seat before January 23rd you will receive two bonusses from us. Firstly, you’ll receive a copy of our e-guide: How to get your shoot published (worth 20 euros)
you’ll also receive a 30 minute one-on-one follow up call via Skype where  you can ask any additional questions, we can do a portfolio or website review, go through the images you took at the workshop. (worth 125 euros)

Bookings are final and non-refundable. You may however sell your seat to someone else should you have to cancel.
Should we have to cancel for whatever reason, you will of course receive a full refund.

Seats are very limited as we want to ensure we can maintain an intimate atmosphere where everyone can get to know each other and where we have plenty of time to help everyone and answer questions on both days.
You do not have to shoot film to attend this workshop, we shoot both film and digital ourselves so digital shooters are MORE than welcome!

Ray and I look forward to connecting with you and helping you grow your business and art to the next level!

“The workshop really has been one of the best investments I’ve made up till now.
Ray and Anouschka are an amazing team and this also shows during this workshop. Everything I wanted to know about wedding photography was talked about and Ray and Anouschka happilly answer any question you might have.

The styling and the couple made this an unforgettable day and these aspects combined made it a great opportunity to learn the tricks of the trade even more. Even after the workshop Ray and Anouschka are still available to answer your questions and help you on your way with any issues you might bump into.

This workshop is very highly recommended!”  Tirza – Selah Photography

A workshop that’s wonderfully set up! Anouschka and Ray have given us so much practical and useful information in just 1 day that’s useful for any photographer to continue to grow to the next level, whether you’re just starting out are have been in business longer.

The styled shoot with a wonderful bride and groom and gorgeous styling with amazing vendors ensure that at the end of the day you will also return home with a memory card filled with stunning photos. After the workshop Anouschka & Ray still give you plenty of useful advice and happily answer any questions you might still have.
If I could only use one word for this day: Super! Thank you so much for this fun, inspiring and educational workshop!”  Sylvie & Patrick, OX Fotografie

“When I attended Anouschka’s wedding photography workshop a new world opened for me.
Can wedding photography be done in this way? And what an amazing profession it is to be a wedding photographer!
Anouschka talks about all the aspects of being a wedding photographer. How do they work, from initial email contact to delivering the final products.
We had a full afternoon of shooting with a real couple and were able to practice with the guidance of Anouschka’s tips and tricks.
Business and marketing was also discussed. Accompanied with delicious coffee and sweets and this way a very safe environment is created.
You can ask Anouschka and Raymond anything about their business. At that point in time I honestly didn’t realise what being an entrepreneur really means. Because photography is amazing but what really helps your business grow is learning about the business and marketing side of things as well.
That part of the workshop helped me so much in the next 1,5 years that followed. I’ve grown as a photographer and as a business owner.
For me, this workshop was honestly life changing and I’m so glad I attended.
Thank you Anouschka for all your information, tips and tricks.” Moniek van Gils
