On continuing to grow the business

Earlier this week I mentioned in a blog post that I had done a two day one:one mentoring session with one of my photography heroes Greg Finck. This mention resulted in receiving messages from other photographers asking me how it was and whether it was worth it for them also.

So, I decided to do a blog post about it in hopes that this will answer the questions other photographers might still have but haven’t asked me (yet). I personally feel it’s so important to continue to grow as an artist and as a business owner. The world is ever revolving and I don’t like to become stagnant in my business in any way. So attending workshops and doing one:one sessions is a great way for me to continue this growth that I find so very important.

When Greg told me last year he’d be hosting one:one sessions it was a no-brainer for me to book this. Greg is a huge inspiration for me and my business. Not just in the amazing images he produces but also in how he manages his business and how he is able to charge healthy prices in a European market.
I cannot say enough good things about the session. Greg is honestly an open book. He’ll share everything and that is so incredibly refreshing. Finally someone who even shares his own numbers openly to ensure you will get a good insight in how to structure your prices.
The session was intense and even though I’ve been in business for nearly 10 years, his insight has been incredible. I went home with a ton of information and inspiration. After applying changes to my online portfolio, Greg took the time to take an in-depth look at it once again to see what I had done and to give me more feedback on the changes I made.
If you want a session with someone who knows photography but also knows business and marketing and who can help you raise your business profile to the next level, don’t hesitate to book this session. I’d highly recommend doing it!
And when you decide to go to Paris to do this session, you get to enjoy this view. Win-win in my book!
