Amsterdam, a nightmare for parking but oh so pretty for weddings and photoshoots!
Marlise and Thomas tied the knot at the beautiful venue De Duif in the centre of Amsterdam.
I had met Marlise and Thomas a few years ago at the wedding of friends of theirs I was shooting. It was lovely to see Lisa and Martijn again at the wedding!
I started with bridal prep at their home, while my lovely second shooter Sascha joined Thomas at the glorious Waldorf Astoria hotel for groom prep.
From the ceremony onwards, we traveled by boat. The best way to view Amsterdam really is from the water and honestly, it saves a lot of hassle with traffic and parking too. Highly recommended for Amsterdam weddings!
Dinner took place at the beautiful Hortus Botanicus while the party continued at The Loft.
Kirsten of La Sensa weddings styled and organised the day to perfection. Always such a pleasure to work with her!
Here are a few of my favourite images of the day.
