The marvelous world of social media. I have a love-hate relationship with it to be honest. I love it on the one hand since it’s so easy to connect with people, follow brands and people you love but on the other hand, it’s so easy to fall into the trap of comparison and feeling that everyone has their stuff together in a much better way than you do.

The love-part usually wins for me though and thus earlier this year I created an Instagram account for Bash, who was then just a few weeks old.
It’s been a blessing, honestly, we’ve connected with so many wonderful and caring people and gotten to know their pups pretty well over the past few months. Online friendships are great, but nothing beats real life socializing so a while back I opted to meet up with some Insta-pals in real life. And so earlier last month we headed to the Soesterduinen to meet up with 2 friends and their adorable Cairn terriers for a nice walk and hot tea afterwards.
It was such fun! The pups connected really well and it looked so cute seeing 4 Cairns running around (well, Bash did most of the running….) and having fun together! We tried taking a group photo of all of them and honestly, we should have filmed the behind the scenes. It was hilarious. They all wanted to do something completely different and Bash, well Bash ain’t got time for posing with so much to do and smell :D

Instagram has brought a lot of joy into our lives and has allowed me to connect with wonderful people for both my business and personal life.

How cute are they together? I love Bash’s smile in this photo. Keira (on the far right) is very pre-occupied looking at Ray instead of me :Ddogphotography2

Bash had been busy as you can see. Digging, digging, digging! dogphotography3

And on take 2 at the end of our walk, Bash was too busy, again, to pose for a photo. That boy, oh my, he’s such a handful but such a joy to have around.
