Anique & Arthur: wedding

Anique and Arthur are one of the sweetest couples we’ve worked with. Such incredibly kind people!

They met a few years ago on the parking lot of the local supermarket. They didn’t talk, they just exchanged looks. They drove behind each other on the way home so they both figured they must be living near each other.
Later that night Anique decided (with a dear friend) to try and find his car in the neighbourhood and leave a note on his window with her phone number. She found it and did just that. She didn’t hear anything until a few days later she found a note with his number on her car window. She thought that was a bit odd, why would he do the same thing? But she called him nonetheless. Turns out the note she left on a car wasn’t his car at all!

Last year on gorgeous sunny Curacao, a place Anique loves dearly, Arthur popped the big question and planning their gorgeous wedding day started.
With a peach colourtheme, beautiful styling by Liza Lente and incredibly warm Summer weather, their dream day took place last June.
The news had predicted weather code orange with heavy rains and thunderstorms but it all passed us by in the distance and Anique & Arthur got their outdoor ceremony in the woods and dinner with their loved ones underneath the apple tree.
We couldn’t be happier for them!

Anique and Arthur, it was such a joy and honor to document this amazing day for you! Thank you for your trust, kindness and enthusiasm. We wish you such an amazing future together filled with tons of love and beautiful, memorable moments. Much love A xo

Here are a few of my favorite images of their day.
