I got my first dog when I was still in school. She was a gorgeous Cairn Terrier, a rescue. Officially we rescued her but honestly, it was the other way around. Because she changed my life in so many ways. She was with me through life altering moments and never failed to cheer me up and give me love when I needed it. Rusty was my everything. Having to say goodbye to her broke my heart in a million pieces.
When Rusty left me for Rainbow Bridge, Keira entered my life. A very cheeky 11 week old Cairn Terrier puppy. She was the naughtiest puppy you could ever imagine. I would honestly sometimes think to myself: what the heck did I get myself into? But she turned out to be a very sweet girl. When I had Keira for just 5 weeks I received a phone call from the Cairn rescue that they had a boy that needed rehoming and they thought he'd be a perfect match for me. When they told me his birthday was on Valentine's Day, which is my birthday too, I knew this dog was meant for me.
That's how Indy entered my life. The most precious and kind soul you could imagine. He touched my soul deeply during his life. We had such a strong bond, such a strong love, it was incredibly special.
Last year he turned 17 years old and just a few weeks after our birthday I had to make the heartbreaking decision to let him go to Rainbow Bridge. His quality of life was failing so fast and that just wasn't fair on him.
It literally broke my soul and part of my soul will also be with him.
A few weeks before Indy had to leave, Bash joined the family. 9 weeks old and such a lovebug!
I don't think I can find the right words to describe Bash. I just adore him to pieces. He's funny, extremely loyal, loves cuddling and snuggling and is always nearby.
To me, dogs are an essential part of the family. I adore my two and to me they are just as precious as kids would be.
Photographing dogs requires a ton of patience, but to capture them as they truly are, is so worth it!

Meet the CEO's of the company: Bash & Keira. I couldn't live without dogs by my side
Growing up I used to ride horses on a weekly basis. I still adore horses and riding so much and cannot wait to get back to it on a regular basis.
It might be the fine art photographer in me, but I'm obsessed with olive trees. I need to photograph them always.
Nature and beautiful, natural light are great sources of inspiration for me. I love photographing in natural environments.
It's the only thing you buy, that makes you richer.
My Ariat cowboy boots are my favorites. I have multiple pairs, they are the most comfortable boots ever. When it's too hot outside, I switch them for flip flops.
My happy place. I love the desert, I love the energy here and don't even get me started on how beautiful the light is and the sunsets <3
My daily ritual 5 days a week.
I definitely like dressing up for weddings and parties, but nothing beats wearing denim and plaid. I guess you can say that I'm a cowgirl at heart.
